JAMB Registration Requirements

A valid phone number (for receiving messages and profile code)
National Identification Number (NIN)
Personal passport photograph (no glasses or caps)

Registration fee (N3,500) plus N700 CBT center service fee
Step-by-Step JAMB Registration Process
Step 1: Get Your National Identification Number (NIN)
All candidates must have a NIN before starting JAMB registration. Visit any NIMC enrollment center near you to get it.
Step 2: Create Your JAMB Profile
Send an SMS in this format:
NIN 12345678901
(Replace with your actual NIN number)
Send it to 55019 or 66019
You will receive a Profile Code via SMS (save it carefully)
Step 3: Buy the JAMB e-PIN
Go to any approved bank, online payment platform, POS center, or JAMB office
Provide your Profile Code to buy the e-PIN
Keep the e-PIN receipt safe
Step 4: Visit an Accredited CBT Center
Go to any JAMB-accredited CBT center with your:
e-PIN
NIN
O’level result
Personal details
They will:
Capture your photo and fingerprints (biometric)
Enter your institution and course choices
Generate and print your JAMB registration slip
Step 5: Collect All Required Documents
After registration, you should receive:
JAMB e-Slip (contains your registration number, exam date, and center)
Syllabus and brochure
Exam mock slip (if you opted in for the mock exam)
